Anxiety Disorder

Hello, I suffer from GAD which is “General Anxiety Disorder.”

I am a 45 year old female and have been suffering with this debilitating and horrid disease for the past five years.  I’ve been to every Doctor, Therapist, Psychologist, Hypnotist, Acupuncturist and New Age Healer in the entire Chicago area!

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to rid myself of this “thing” that is stealing my life out from under me and nothing has worked.  No one can tell me why this has happened to me and no one can help me get better.

About 3 months ago I was in the waiting room of my Doctor’s office and there was a meaning to pause brochure that I picked up.  I was intrigued and curious but since I have done it all, I really didn’t think this could help.  I thought I would give it a try (nothing to lose) so I ordered one of the bracelets from the web site.

The first day I wore the bracelet, I didn’t really know what to do when it vibrated, so I just took some deep breaths and went outside to look around (felt kind of silly).   I read the brochure again and then decided that I was going to create some positive thoughts that I would repeat when I received a vibration.  This might not make sense to anyone else, but the three things I chose to say to myself (with deep breaths) were: 1) I am ok, nothing is wrong with me, 2) I can get through anything because I am smart, 3) I am not afraid, I am strong.  These thoughts helped me to stay grounded and in the present moment.  It allows me to take control of my thoughts and not let my mind wander into the future or the unknown.  These positive thoughts gave me strength.

I did this for one week straight and I am still amazed of the power I have to help heal myself!  I am not 100% cured of this disease, but this bracelet helps me feel empowered to do something for myself rather than sit in a chair paralyzed from fear.  I now believe I will get better and I believe there is hope!

I change what I pause for now.  Sometimes I say prayers; sometimes I just give thanks for all the good things in my life.  I focus on the positive and the now not the negative and the future (or the “what if’s” that used to plague my mind).

I am so grateful for this tool that has helped me take control of my wandering mind and my negative, fearful thoughts.

After all the money I’ve spent on trying to get better, I think it’s humorous that a $45.00 bracelet has been the one thing that has really helped me.  It’s the best money I have ever spent!  Thank you!
